By accessing or using SafeToSign ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SafeToSign.
2. Description of Service
SafeToSign provides AI-powered contract analysis using Claude AI by Anthropic. Our Service:
- Analyses legal contracts and documents you upload
- Identifies potential risks, unusual clauses, and key terms
- Provides plain-English explanations of complex legal language
- Generates a risk score and summary report
- Generates professional contract templates based on your inputs

The analysis provided by SafeToSign is for informational and educational purposes only. It does NOT constitute legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by using our Service.
Our AI analysis, while helpful, may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. For any important legal decisions, disputes, or high-value contracts, you should ALWAYS consult with a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
By using SafeToSign, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.
4. User Accounts
4.1 Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your password, notify us of any unauthorised access, and accept responsibility for all activities under your account.
4.2 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, abuse the Service, or fail to pay subscription fees.
5. Subscription Plans and Billing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same date each month. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
6. Refund Policy

To request a refund, email support@safetosign.io with subject "Refund Request". We will respond within 3 business days.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal content or documents related to illegal activities
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the Service
- Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service excessively
- Share your account with multiple users
- Resell or redistribute our analysis without permission
- Upload documents you do not have the right to analyse
- Circumvent usage limits or billing
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Intellectual Property
SafeToSign, including our website, logo, software, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.
8.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process the document through our AI for analysis and store results in your account. We do NOT claim ownership of your documents or analysis results.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFETOSIGN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR: indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities; decisions made based on our analysis; errors or omissions in AI-generated analysis; or damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland (EU). Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@safetosign.io to attempt resolution. Disputes not resolved informally shall be subject to the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr
